Opportunities
Graduate Students: The HE Lab has 1~2 fully funded Ph.D. student positions in Fall 2025. The successful candidates are expected to conduct cutting-edge research on environmental remediation of emerging contaminants using advanced materials in engineered and natural systems. The students will be responsible for experimental design and execution, data collection and analysis, preparing presentations, reports, and peer-reviewed publications. Interested students are encouraged to contact Dr. He ([email protected]).
Postdoc Researchers: The Center for Advanced Materials and the Department of Biochemistry, Chemistry and Physics at Georgia Southern University is hiring three Post-Doctoral Research Associates with a start date of July 1, 2025 or as soon as available. One of the successful candidates will work with Dr. Rocio Perez, Dr. Jianzhou He, and Dr. Stetson Rowles on a SERDP-funded project. The postdoctoral researcher must have a strong chemistry background with expertise in ionic liquid chemistry and additional experience in polymer recycling or solubilization. The position is for a one-year period, which can be renewed contingent upon satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
PhD Program (Deadline: April 1) 4+1 Bachelor + Master Program College Office of Undergraduate Research (COUR) Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP)
